The President of Cameroon Volley Federation, Serge Julien Abouem on January 28,2023 in a press conference held at the Yaounde Johnson College, officially announced his candidacy for the post of President.

The press conference had as aim to present the giant projects carried out in the past years. As well as to unveil his plans for the next mandate and to make known the eleven persons team to join him, in the realization of his new mandate.

Being at the helm of the Cameroon Volleyball Federation since 2013, and considered as the reformator of the Cameroonian volleyball, Abouem’s ceaseless efforts has led to an increase in federation’s coffers from fifteen million to One billion. And intends moving to five billion for the next ten years.

The federation now counts 108 clubs and intends moving to 540clubs, in the next ten years. They now boost of 1760 licenses and hopes of making it 20 ,000 in ten years. With 16 sponsors, though aiming for 100

In terms of infrastructural development, the federation intends to erect four gymnasiums over the national territory , in ten years . With the construction of the first gymnasium for slated the upcoming days .
