Having arrived Portugal in 2018 from Brazilian club Cruzeiro, Joël Tagueu, who over time became vice-captain of his team, scored 41 goals in 144 games with the red and green colors of Maritimo. The latter wrote his name in the history books of the Madeiran.

Maritimo are set to gain huge bucks from Tagueu’s transfer to Saudi.
