Medeama SC drew 1-1 with Kumasi base King Fiasal at Tarkwa Akoon Park in Matchday 30 of the ongoing Ghana premier league on thursday morning.
The match schedule to have taken place yesterday but was called off due to heavy rain down pour at Tarkwa which could not allow the game to commence.
Autimately, Medeama started the game on a higher note, known to have been the favourite but unfortunately were held to a goaless stalemate(0-0) by a depleted King Fiasal team which had little of the ball in the first 45’minutes.
With barely almost 22’minutes into the second half, Medeama SC hit infront whiles Prince Opoku Agyeman’s strike was enough to ease past the King Fiasal goalkeeper on the 67’minutes.
The match almost seemed to have end 1-0 infavor of Medeama but only for the strike of King Fiasal’s sensation Kwame Peprah with 90’minutes plus an additional time equalizer to put Alhalji guurusah’s men on level pegg.
Medeama with the draw, have pushed back to the 5th position on the league log with 47 points whiles a point for King Faisal have lifted them from their usual 17th position to 16th. Though pending the outcome of Liberty professionals who are sitting 17th game against AshGold this afternoon.
