Former Hearts of Oak midfielder Kofi Abanga has disclosed that he is making a return to the Ghana premier league next season.  Kofi Abanga can be highly remembered during his days at Premier league heavyweight Hearts of Oak where before joining the club he was reported to have concluded talks with Asante Kotoko only to have signed for the

 

Although Abanga was tipped to get to the very top in the game, the skillful midfielder failed to reach his full potential.  But speaking to ace sportscaster Stephen Kwame Yeboah on Takoradi-based Ahoto FM, the 32-year old confidently stated that he is ‘fit and strong’ to continue playing fotball despite being inactive for almost three years.

The former Aduana Stars attacking midfielder didn’t disclose the team he will be signing for but assured that he will make a return to the league next season.

 

“Many think I can’t play football again because I have been inactive for awhile, but I can assure you that I will return to the league next year”, he revealed…  Aside playing for Hearts of Oak and Aduana Stars, Kofi Abanga also had stints with Elmina Sharks.
