Yaounde will host the pioneer African Sports Marketing Summit scheduled from February 25-26, 2022, at the Multipurpose Sports Complex, thanks to a join partnership between Palmares Sports Organization and LaLiga as revealed in a press conference on Thursday, November 3,2022 in Yaounde.

The giant African Sport Management Summit scheduled from February 25-26, 2023 in Yaounde, at the Multipurpose Sports Complex, will be the first of its kind for the organizers, to reflect on ways of generating revenues through sports for countries.

For two consecutive days, the Yaounde Sports Complex will host the cream of global sports marketing in the Cemac sub-region. They will address essential topics, on the major foundations of sports arena management, the digital transformation of institutions and clubs, the construction of commercial brands via the sport lever, the management of the image of athletes and many more other subjects.

LaLiga and the Palmares Sport Organization will combine their expertise to offer players, federations, clubs, commercial brands and students a platform for the exchange on the levers of sports marketing, necessary for the construction foundations of a professional ecosystem in Africa.

The Palmares Sport Organization was created in 2009 and has as Chief Executive Officer, Cameroonian-born Nasser Njoya. It is the first sports marketing agency in French speaking African, with representations in (Douala) Cameroon , (Casablanca) Morocco, (Kigali) Rwanda and partner offices across thirty countries in Africa, via the FCB worldwide network.

The structure has established a strong collaboration with several sports federations in Africa, such as the African Football Confederation during the 2021 CHAN, CANAL+Africa, LaLiga for the promotion of its championship in Central Africa.

LaLiga has always supported the Cameroonian football through the deformed Cameroon Professional League (LFPC), in the training of football tacticians and in the domain of organization.
