The Cameroon senior women’s handball team have secure a third win, after defeating host Senegal by 28-27 score on Monday, November 14 , 2022 at the Dakar playing Arena.
Lodged in pool C, Biolo Touba and girls had defeated Ivory Coast in their first outing by 28-16,against Madagascar on 42-9.
Cameroon’s Karichma Ekoh Kaltoume came out best player at the end of the game . The team is expected to know her opponent, in the upcoming days for the second round of the competition.
The handball lionesses are chasing their first ever trophy in the African Women’s Handball Championship, after coming closest last year, when the team finished vice-champions losing to Angola in the finals at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex.
