The Indomitable lions technical staff, players and FA officials have left Yaounde, on Thursday, November 10, 2022 via the Nsimalen International Airport for the skyline modern city of Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates.
Captain Vincent Aboubakar, Davis Epassy, Ngom Mbeleki,Fai Collins and Marou Souaibou Marou left Yaounde, 24hours after their 1-1 draw game,against the Raggae Boys of Jamaica.
Adding to the draw game, was the official handing over of the country’s national flag to captain Vincent Aboubakar by the Minister, Director of the Civil Cabinet, H. E. Samuel Mvondo Ayolo accompanied by some members of government.
The lndomitable lions preparatory journey for the World Cup, will end on November 18,2022 in a friendly encounter against Panama at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium.
The rest of the players recently selected by head coach Rigobert Song, are expected to join the Lions den in the days ahead, in a bid to fine tune tactics for the upcoming Qatari world soccer showpiece.
