President Paul Biya,on Monday,February 6,2023, appointed 68-year-old former Indomitable lions’ goalkeeper and traditional ruler,His Majesty Joseph Antoine Bell to the position of board chair of the newly created Cameroon National Office of Infrastructures and Sports Equipments( ONIES).
Jojo affectionately called by his peers will be assisted by Mr Ewane Felix appointed pioneer administrator, likewise Mme Wanki Pascaline deputy pioneer deputy administrator of the institution.
Bell holds 79 appearances with the Cameroon Senior football national team. And has featured in numerous African Cup of Nations competitions. And was part of the 1990 FIFA World Cup expedition.
At club level, he ply his trade for Africa Sports of Abidjan, Union Sportive of Douala, Saint Etienne and Arab Contractors in Egypt.
Since his retirement from the football scenery in 1994,he has throne top jobs, with foreign based media outlets, wearing the cap of football analyst.
