Appointed on February 6,2023 as the pioneer Board Chair, Director and Deputy Director of the National Sports Infrastructures Organizations, Joseph Antoine Bell, François Félix Ewane and Pascaline Maguine Wanki were officially installed in their various functions on Wednesday, February 22, at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex.
Installing the new members into their functions, Minister Narcisse Mouelle Kombi of Sports and Physical Education, reminded the pioneer ONIES officials on the high mission assigned to them by the Head of State, President Paul Biya.
« First, it is a mission that embraces the concerns of Cameroonians. You forget that it was you, who said that what are we going to do with the infrastructures, you asked a lot of questions« .
« The decree of the President of the Republic, shows that the President of the Republic is indeed your President, our President. He is aware of what worries you. He has put in place a structure that must take care of your concerns and ensure that they are well used. So our role is to ensure that your concerns, that the concerns of the Cameroonian people who are the final payer of these infrastructures, are reassured and happy to have made these investments, » Joseph Antoine Bell concluded.
Bell, Ewane and Wanki will have the responsibility to ensure the proper maintenance and exploitation of the various sports infrastructures.
