Cameroonian left-back Jonathan Ngwem and Future FC continued their brilliant run in the Egyptian Premier League against Aswan.

Ngwem and his Future FC pals regained second place in the Egyptian championship behind Al Ahly after a 2-1 victory over the weekend.

An imperial player from left side of he field, the Cameroonian full-back started and lasted entire 90 minutes against a difficult Aswan FC with an assist to his name.

Karim Walid had helped the visitors take the lead at the 7th minute, but it was Ngwen’s burst down the left that helped Future go two-to-the-good in the 78th minute. Aswan pulled one back a minute later through Evouna, but it turned out to be a mere consolation.

Jonathan Ngwem therefore takes his season’s total to 5 assists in the Egyptian Premier League. Jonathan Ngwem participated in the entire meeting. Future FC now have 42 points, 2 behind Ahly.
