Julius Ndifon, Junior Atemengue, Maurice Tabi and Yves Eloundou have helped APEJES of Mfou, to secure a win against AS Fortuna on a 4-2 score, in match day seven of the MTN Elite One Championship at the Ngoa Ekelle Military Stadium, on Wednesday, November 16,2022.

The first goal opportunity of the game had surfaced barely some five minute, after the official kick-off of the game via a terrific shot from AS Fortuna’s Adrien Boris Mfoumou.His shot narrowly passed by the cage of goalkeeper Gaspard Frank Messobo of APEJES.

The boys of coach Prospere Ndedi Ebang of Fortuna, played with much engagement and motivation until the 10 minute, when Yuh Moses placed a well curved cross over for an opener. Unfortunately, Serge Edoa’s poor header, was unable to reach the back of the net of goalkeeper Gaspard Frank Messobo of APEJES.

AS Fortuna through the brilliance of Lionel Massi opened the score at the 27 and 32 minutes .While, APEJES of Mfou eqalized at the 30th and 33rd minutes respectively.With both sides ending the first segment of the less spectacular game on a 2-2 score.

The second half of the encounter, was more productive for coach Jean Francis Ema of APEJES, who opted for a speedy and domineering play on the flanks.

APEJES of Mfou took the lead at the 52 minutes with a third goal from Junior Atemengue and a fourth goal thanks to substitute Vandelin Yves Eloundou.

Bertrand Essiane and mates struggled to take control of the last minutes of the encounter.But the young and vibrant APEJES defenders defended with much energy and rigor.
