Wa United FC had a flying start to the regional division two league after an emphatic win against Busa Golden FC at the Jahan Park.

The Zebras entered the game with high hopes as debutants and they got the better of their opponents with two quick goals.

The first 20 minutes was a daisy affair with both teams playing with caution.

The game lived up to the billing with both sides playing exhilarating football to the delight of the fans.

The telepathy between Abudi Kaweel, Aziz Isaac and Baba Pogba was too good for the visitors to handle.

The solidity of Wa United’s midfield proved to be the difference with their luxury to open the defense for their attackers to exploit.

Wa United FC opened the scoring on the 29th minute mark through Maburuki from the spot.

The maverick striker got his second in the afternoon after scoring a spectacular to make the scoring 2-0 on the 32nd minute.

The second half was even tougher as Busa Golden FC smashed the woodwork and forced a goal line clearance at the opposite end.

Maburiku nearly had a hat trick of goals after receiving a lofty pass only to send a weak effort into the hands of the opposing keeper.

The visitors huffed and puffed and the game ended 2-0 to cap a perfect afternoon for Wa United.

Wa United FC will play their next match against Malima FC on the 25th of June, 2021 at the same center.
