Horoya AC on Saturday, February 19,2023 snatched a precious point from Vipers SC in their outing counting for the TotalEnergies CAF champions league action.
The experienced African campaigners Horoya of Guinea drew 0-0 at Vipers of Uganda in the same section and visit Raja next weekend for a top-of-the-table showdown.
Horoya infact, celebrated two victories on Saturday, February 18, 2023. First was the point taken against Vipers SC, then the victory of Raja Casablanca against Simba SC. The scenerio means the Guinean club will keep its distance from Vipers and Simba.
Meanwhile for Raja, there has been no looking back. The Casablanca outfit are leaders. After their win against Vipers SC (5-0) in Morocco, they went to manhandle Simba SC (3-0) on Saturday, February 18 in Tanzania. This victory suits Horoya AC from Conakry, who also made a successful trip to Uganda on Saturday.
HAC is three points ahead of its Tanzanian and Ugandan competitors. Kanfory Lappé Bangoura’s men will face Raja Casablanca over the next two days.
