Faced with a nearby contract end, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has convinced the leaders of Bayern. The Cameroonian goal poacher has extended his contract with the German Bundesliga supremo.

The indomitable Lions poacher will extend his lease in Munich.

Having arrived at Bayern in 2020, the Cameroonian striker is having a remarkable season under Julian Nagelsmann.

Author of 16 goals and 4 assists in all competitions, the former PSG star is also thinking about his future as his current contract ends at the end of the season.

For the past few weeks, the 33-year-old has approached his leaders to discuss an extension which is about to be completed.

According to Sky Sport, Choupo-Moting should renew his contract for an additional year, until 2024.

The Cameroonian would benefit from a significant salary increase from 7 million euros including bonuses, to a bigger sum yet to be aired.

It is no more than he deserves as the ex-Schalke striker will be rewarded for his efforts by the leaders of the Bundesliga.
