The Cameroon women’s handball national selection have obtained a semi-final spot, following their narrow 23-22 victory against DR Congo, on Wednesday, November 17,2022 in Dakar.
The narrow victory of Eko Karichma and mates against Congo, gives them a direct qualification for the World Handball Championship slated for November 30 – December 17,2023, co-organized by Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
Coach Serge Christian Guebogo and girls shall take on Congo in a semi-final game, slated for Thursday, November 17,2022 at the Dakar Arena.
So far team Cameroon has been on fine form, beating Ivory Coast, Madagascar, host Senegal and DR Congo.
The handball women are chasing their first ever African trophy, after losing to Angola in the finals of the 2021 African Handball Championship held in Yaounde.
