30-year-old Indomitable lions’ skipper and goalpoacher Vincent Aboubakar,is already set to make his triumph come back into the Turkish division one league with Besiktas. After a three years stint with the Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr, after putting up a gruesome performance.
Aboubakar took part in 41 official matches, and scored 13 goals, dishing out 5 assists in the process for Nassr.
It has been a winter window filled with speculations over the center forward’s future after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo in Al Nassr. Aboubakar was linked with several clubs including Real Valladolid and Manchester United. The latter is now set for a return to Turkey.
Vincent Aboubakar is the only Cameroonian included in the International Federation of Football History & Statistics CAF team of 2022 aired on tuesday.
