Hasaacas Ladies thrashed Ampem Darkoa Ladies 4-0 to win the 2020/21 Women’s Premier League, their 5th league title in history.
Hasaacas Ladies came into the game as winners of the Southern zone, whiles Ampem Darkoa Ladies winners of the Northern zone.
The game was initially scheduled to kick off at 4:00 but was rescheduled to 5:15pm due to a heavy downpour. However, that didn’t stop Hasmal Ladies from pulverizing their opponents.
The first goal of the game came in the 11th minute, Faustina Nyame headed in a crossing from a free kick by Milot Pokuaa. Minutes after scoring the goal, Faustina Nyame was subbed off after picking an injury.
Hasaacas Ladies doubled their lead in the 33rd minute from another set piece. This time it was Evelyn Badu who was at the end of a free kick from Milot Pokuaa.
Hasaacas in the second half didn’t take their foot off the pedal and made it 3-0 in the 70th minute through Doris Boaduwaa, she reacted the quickest to rebound.
That wasn’t enough, Doris Boaduwaa scored again in the 84th minute to make it 4-0, her 10th league goal of the season.
