December 14 is a decisive day for Cameroon’s U-20 national football team as well as their Central Africa Republic counterparts.
Coach Yvan Kenmoe’s Cameroon team which was held to a 1-1 draw by DR Congo on Sunday have picked up just two points from two games and sit third in the rankings going into the final group game against second seeded Central Africa Republic.
Wednesday’s confrontation is a must win for the holders of the zonal title as without a victory they will fail to qualify for the 2023 tournament in Egypt.
Cameroon has pulled two 1-1 draw in the competition but must find a way of getting a better result in their next outing to avoid the unfortunate situation of missing the tournament.
Over the years, Cameroon teams have stepped up when their backs are on the war.
Kaiba Djawal and his mates are expected to do same this time around in other to be amongst the 12 nations to contest for the Under-20 Nations cup title next year in Egypt.
