The Intermediate Lions and other members of the delegation were warmly welcomed by the Algerian authorities and some supporters in the city of Oran, which is their base.
The selection coached by Alioum Saidou will start their tournament on January 16 against Congo.

The Indomitable Lions will face Niger in the last game of the group stage.
The president of Fecafoot, Samuel Eto’o is also expected on site to take part in the competition in his capacity as a CAF legend.
